Competitions
Who can take part?
Our competitions are open to young writers across India. Each competition lists the age group it is for, and every entrant is celebrated, not only the winners.
Is it free to enter a competition?
Yes. Our writing competitions are always free to enter.
How does my child enter?
A parent or guardian submits the child's original writing through a secure online form linked on each competition page. We ask grown-ups to submit so you are always in the loop.
How often do new competitions open?
New competitions open regularly. The competitions page always shows what is open now and what is coming up next.
Can my child enter more than one competition?
Yes. Your child can enter any competition that is open. Most competitions allow one entry per child, so do read each one's guidelines.
What happens to winning entries?
Winners are chosen by a credentialed judge, can win prizes, and have their work published in our digital magazine for everyone to read.
Classes & facilitators
Are the classes online?
Yes. Facilitator sessions run online, either one-on-one or in small groups, so children can take part safely from home.
What ages are the classes for?
It depends on the facilitator. Each one lists the age groups they work with on their profile.
How do we book a class?
Each facilitator's profile shows how to sign up, usually by phone, email or WhatsApp. Reach out and they will take it from there.
Who are the facilitators and judges?
They are working educators and mentors with real teaching credentials. You can read each person's background on our Facilitators page and on each competition.
How much do classes cost?
Pricing is set by each facilitator and shown on their profile, with separate one-on-one and small-group rates. Competition entry is always free.
Safety & privacy
How do you protect my child's privacy?
We never publish a child's full name or contact details without your consent, and entries are always submitted by you, the parent or guardian.
Will my child meet strangers online?
No. Sessions are small and led by a facilitator, and there is no open community or messaging where children could meet strangers.
Is this like social media?
No. There are no public profiles, no feeds and no direct messaging. It is a focused space built around writing, not scrolling.
